About St Luke's

Between 1932 and 1978 the St Luke's Toddlers' Home cared for 1500 children in Bendigo, Victoria. In the 1970s, the auspice of the agency moved from the Melbourne Diocese of the Anglican Church to the Bendigo Diocese. St Luke's Family Care, now known as St Luke's Anglicare, was born in 1979.

Today, more than 20 years later, the wellbeing of children remains our core business as we work with children, their families and communities to bring hope and create opportunities for change.

More than 300 people are employed by St Luke's who, between them, work with more than 1000 people on any given day.

Message from the St Luke's CEO, David Pugh

St Luke's is thrilled to be the recipient of funds raised from St Luke's Ride for Youth. To have such high profile community members participating in this ride from Bendigo to Bathurst is tremendous for our organisation and one in which we are pleased to put our name to.

Money raised from this venture will be directed towards St Luke's youth programs. Our programs are focused on encouraging positive engagement, providing timely support and providing pathways to education and employment.

I look forward to riding the first leg of this event with you and meeting you when you arrive in Bathurst.

Best wishes
Dave Pugh
